I want to get rid of my glasses and contact and I want to know if anyone has had that lasics sergery on their eyes. Has it worked how painful is it and does it cost alot?

I have had lasik surgery about 8 years ago, it worked great, I have not had to wear contacts/glasses since then. It is not really painful tyey put drops in your eyes to numb them. your eyes will be red of course, but that goes away in like 2 days, they gave me valium to relax me for the procedure. I had to keep my eyes closed the remainder of the day. You have to put in eye drops for about 2 weeks. The only pain I had afterwards was a feeling of grittyness in the eyes. the cost, depends on where you are going to have it done, I paid about 1500. per eye, but that was 8 years ago,
