Vision QA

You know the ones where they shoot a beam at your eyes and then your have perfect vision and what not. I want to know everything about it. Does it hurt?Cause harm?Expensive?etc?

LASIK or laser-assisted-in-situ- keratomileusis. no, it does not hurt. it usually does not cause harm, although in rare cases it can. it still runs about $2000/eye in the U.S. sometimes "perfect" vision, sometimes not. http://www.fda.gov/cdrh/lasik/
