Not really but I do know that I have been wearing them for 22 years now with astigmatism as well and recently the eye doctor gave me a new knid to wear that just about made me rub my eyes out!!! They never told me these type of lense had weights in them, and there was a certain way to put them in to correct the problem therefore after so much rubbing my eyes were so dry. My own experience tells me astigmatism somewhats corrects itself and Acuvue 2 lenses are the best. If they have to much water in them for dryness they rip easily and do not conform to your eye as well. And also use Ciba Complete Moisture not Baush and Lomb and you will see a big difference automatically. I use refresh drops to made by Ciba or just look at my checkbook balance for extra tears LOL Good Luck
